Welcome...
This Web site lists ATSDR environmental public health (EPH) training
courses being managed by ATSDR's Division of Health Assessment and Consultation
(DHAC). These
courses provide instruction on a variety of topics related to the health
assessment process and ATSDR staff and partners' efforts in conducting
public health assessments, health consultations, exposure investigations,
community involvement, health studies, and health education. The courses
incorporate Agency policy/guidance and the current state of the science.
By clicking on the course listing you can
learn what courses are scheduled or being planned. A brief description,
the goals, and logistics are provided for each course. In most cases,
a preliminary agenda and a biosketch of course instructors also are
available.
Unless otherwise noted, the ATSDR EPH training courses are open to all Agency staff and ATSDR
partners. In some cases, priority status will be given to staff and
partners directly involved in the health assessment process. You can
register for a course directly from this Web
site by filling out the registration form. You will receive a confirmation
number which you should retain should you need to cancel or make further
inquiries regarding your registration status.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or special needs involving
the EPH Training program in ATSDR or this pilot Web site, please contact
Bob Kay, ATSDR EPH Training
Coordinator (BKay@cdc.gov; 770-488-0663).
